Are pets allowed on site?
Yes, we allow LEASHED pets on the grounds, however we encourage everyone to leave your four legged friends at home. Pets must remain under control at all times.
Can we leave and re-enter the grounds?
Yes! Just be sure your stamp from entry is clear, or get a stamp before leaving. Re-entry is only good for same day.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes, however it’s located inside the gates and only accessible after entry. Please bring cash for your admission costs.
Do I have to pay for parking?
No, parking is free! Please watch for parking signs on the streets and only park where permitted to avoid a parking ticket.
Can we bring backpacks into the Fair?
Yes you can, however we reserve the right to search them.
Do personal support workers get free entry?
Yes they do when accompanying a client, the PSW gets in for free.
Why isn't admission free?
The entire Fair weekend costs over $100,000. We are able to heavily subsidize the admission costs thanks to generous sponsors and by applying for grants. Your admission helps us cover the ever rising costs to run the fair, and we are proud to say we haven’t increased admission for a very long time! Also, if you volunteer you can earn free admission – come and join us!
Why do I have to pay extra for the rides?
The midway is a completely separate business and entity from the Wilmot Ag Society. They set their own prices based on the costs to run their business.
